President Mahama Visits The Gambia to Strengthen Regional Relations

President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Banjul, The Gambia, as part of a diplomatic mission aimed at reinforcing ties with Ghana’s West African neighbours.

Mahama’s visit, which also includes Senegal, is designed to express gratitude to the Heads of State of both countries for their participation in his inauguration ceremony on January 7.

The trip underscores the president’s ongoing commitment to enhancing diplomatic and economic relations within the West African region.

Following his stay in The Gambia, Mahama is expected to travel to Senegal before concluding the visit and returning to Ghana on January 17.
