Prof. Kobby Mensah Appointed CEO of Ghana Tourism Development Company

President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Prof. Kobby Mensah as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Tourism Development Company Limited (GTDC).

Prof. Mensah, an esteemed tourism marketing expert and Associate Professor at the University of Ghana Business School, takes on the role with a wealth of experience and a strong academic foundation. Known for his pioneering efforts in promoting tourism, he’s played a key role in initiatives like the Destination Legon Tourism Marketing Exhibition, which bridges academia and industry practice.

His appointment is seen as a significant step in advancing Ghana’s tourism sector, with expectations that his leadership will help further position the country as a top destination for global travelers.
