Ghanaian musician Reggie Zippy and his ex-wife, Edith Ward, have reunited for the first time since the breakdown of their marriage, following years of strained relations over custody of their children.

Reggie, who had previously accused Edith of preventing him from seeing their kids, revealed in September that it had been two years since he last saw them in person.

However, in a heartfelt post on Facebook, the musician shared a photograph of himself, Edith, and their 10-year-old daughter, Dior, during a family dinner to celebrate her birthday.

The reunion, described by Reggie as a chance to rebuild their relationship, marked a significant moment for the family. “Mum and dad with the birthday Princess Dior last night after family reunion dinner to celebrate Dior’s 10th birthday,” he wrote. “There is peace, love, joy and harmony for our children and us parents too.”

He went on to thank Edith for providing what he called a “wonderful opportunity for us to reset and recalibrate our positive family relationship.”

The post has been met with widespread support from fans, who praised the pair for prioritizing their children’s well-being.
