“Zero doubts. For me, Leo Messi is the best player ever,” Rodri told El Hormiguero. Reflecting on the challenges of facing Messi, he added, “When he received the ball, you were thinking: there is danger coming. I would try to take the ball away from him, but he would get away from you as if you weren’t there.”
Rodri also shared his perspective on Ronaldo’s achievements, indicating that the Portuguese star was able to match Messi’s greatness without the same natural flair.
“Cristiano Ronaldo was able to match Lionel Messi without any natural talent,” he said. “But as players who faced them both, we know the difference.
