In a show of solidarity, Samuel Nartey George, the Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, publicly voiced his unwavering support for his colleague Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor following his recent suspension. George, a prominent figure within Ghana’s parliamentary ranks, took to social media platform X to offer a heartfelt message, underscoring Dafeamekpor’s integrity and commitment to his work.

“I stand with you in this moment of unfortunate adversity,” George wrote, emphasizing that Dafeamekpor’s kindness and humanity had made him a target. “You are a bulwark for our Caucus, and we stand shoulder to shoulder with you,” he added, reaffirming his loyalty and support for his embattled colleague.

In a separate address to the constituents of South Dayi, George praised Dafeamekpor’s leadership, referring to him as “a warrior, a leader, an advocate, and a brother’s brother.” He called on the people of South Dayi to stand by Dafeamekpor during this challenging period, echoing a message of resilience: “This storm too shall pass.”

George’s comments highlight the strong sense of camaraderie within their political caucus and reflect his deep respect for Dafeamekpor’s contributions to Ghana’s legislature. As the situation unfolds, George’s continued support underscores the importance of solidarity in the face of political adversity.
