Spotify’s latest “100 Best African Love Songs” playlist, released on February 11, 2025, has placed several Ghanaian artists at the forefront of African love music. The list underscores the critical role Ghanaian musicians play in shaping the sound of love, passion, and heartbreak across the continent.
Ghanaian stars including King Promise, Kojo Antwi, Sarkodie, Gyakie, Bisa Kdei, Kuami Eugene, Stonebwoy, and KiDi made their mark on the prestigious playlist, cementing their status as creators of iconic love tracks.
Notable Ghanaian hits featured include Sarkodie’s “Can’t Let You Go,” Gyakie’s “Forever” remix with Omah Lay, King Promise’s “Selfish,” KiDi’s “4Life,” Kwesi Arthur’s “Nobody” with Mr Eazi, Stonebwoy’s “More of You,” and M.anifest’s “Me Ne Woa.”
