A video obtained by AkomaFM appears to show Stephen Amoah, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Nhyiaeso, allegedly observing a voter’s ballot during Ghana’s general elections.

The footage, recorded at a polling station, shows Mr. Amoah standing in another voting booth and appearing to look over the voter’s shoulder as they cast their vote. The voter seems unaware of his actions.

This incident has raised concerns over the integrity and privacy of the voting process in Ghana, particularly regarding the country’s commitment to free and fair elections.

Electoral laws in Ghana uphold the secrecy of the ballot as a fundamental principle, ensuring voters can cast their votes without fear of intimidation or interference.
