This year’s Rhythms On Da Runway, themed the Kente Edition, promises an unforgettable experience for attendees as some of Ghana’s music icons take the stage. The event is scheduled for November 30 at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Centre.

Kente, a traditional Ghanaian textile made from hand-woven silk and cotton, symbolizes the country’s rich heritage and African creativity. It embodies craftsmanship, sustainability, and tradition.

Performances will feature legendary artists including Asaabea Cropper, Nene Agyeman, and Amandzeba, alongside popular acts such as Camidoh, Nacee, Kwabena Kwabena, Edem, Epixode, and Michael Stuckey from the USA. Comedian DKB will also entertain the crowd with his humor.

Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD), the Creative President of Nineteen57, stated that the production team has implemented extensive measures to ensure a memorable show. He encouraged music and fashion enthusiasts to attend and support a good cause.

The event will celebrate the creative industry by bringing together various stakeholders and honoring living legends Agya Koo Nimo, Kwabena Kwabena, Pan-Africanist Chief Momodo Dele, and the soulful Bibie Brew as the 2024 Black Star Honorees.
