What we know

• Trump wins 2 key battlegrounds: Donald Trump will retake battleground Georgia, which he narrowly lost in 2020, CNN projects. He will also win North Carolina, shrinking Kamala Harris’ possible paths to victory.  Vote counting continues in key states
• Race to 270: It’s too early to call the other battleground states- Pennsylvania, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin and Nevada — seen as pivotal to each candidate’s path to victory.  Trump and Harris each need at least 270 electoral votes to win the presidency.
