The first legs of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 delivered drama, late winners, and dominant displays as Europe’s elite battled for a spot in the quarterfinals.

Elliot the Hero as Liverpool Edge PSG

A late strike from substitute Harvey Elliott in the 87th minute gave Liverpool a crucial 1-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes. The tight victory leaves the Merseyside club in pole position ahead of next week’s second leg at Anfield. PSG enjoyed majority of possession but were denied on many occasions by the impressive Alisson Becker.

Inter Milan in Cruise Control After Dutch Triumph

Italian champions Inter Milan secured a solid 2-0 away victory over Feyenoord in Rotterdam, with goals from Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martínez. The Nerazzurri will look to finish the job at the San Siro next week.
