The office of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Ho was set ablaze by unidentified individuals, causing significant damage to vital office equipment and documents.

The fire destroyed items such as computers, photocopiers, fans, and other essential materials. The Ghana National Fire Service responded quickly to the scene, containing the blaze and preventing further damage.

Preliminary reports suggest the attack may be linked to dissatisfaction over President John Dramani Mahama’s recent ministerial appointments, which notably did not include a representative from Ho Central. This omission has reportedly stirred unrest among some local individuals.
