The Overlord of Gonjaland, Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Jewusoale I, has called on President-elect John Dramani Mahama to continue implementing policies that align with the aspirations of Ghanaians.

During a courtesy visit by the President-elect, Yagbonwura reminded Mahama of the social contract he shares with the people of Ghana, stressing the importance of fulfilling their expectations.

“As you prepare for your inauguration on January 7, 2025, it is our hope that you will continue to implement policies and programmes that resonate with the aspirations of our people,” Yagbonwura said.

The traditional leader also expressed that Mahama’s re-election was a clear indication of his successful tenure, acknowledging that Ghanaians had shown confidence in his ability to lead the nation to greater heights.
