President John Dramani Mahama has urged Ghanaians to fully support the country’s economic reset agenda, stressing that collective action is essential to navigating the path toward recovery and sustainable growth.
Speaking at the launch of the National Economic Dialogue on March 3, 2025, Mahama framed the event as more than just a platform for discussing economic challenges. He emphasized its purpose: to identify practical solutions and outline a strategic approach for securing Ghana’s financial future.
“We are not here to recount our struggles nor to accept economic stagnation,” Mahama said. “We are here to find solutions that will chart a course for growth and create an economy that works for every Ghanaian.”
He underscored the urgency of the task at hand, calling the dialogue a “crucial moment” for stakeholders to collaborate in addressing the country’s economic difficulties.
The National Economic Dialogue is expected to bring together government officials, economists, business leaders, and other key figures to propose policies aimed at restoring Ghana’s economic stability and fostering long-term prosperity.
