The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially dropped the 2025 Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) results — and it’s coming with a clear warning: stick to the rules or face the consequences.

In a directive signed by Acting Deputy Director-General Dr. Munawaru Issahaque, the GES is telling schools across the country that only students on the official placement list can be admitted. No backdoor admissions, no favours, no exceptions — unless there’s written approval from the top.

“Any unauthorised admissions will attract administrative sanctions,” the statement said. Translation? Schools caught bending the rules could be in serious trouble.

All Regional and District Directors have been instructed to spread the word, while school heads are expected to start registration and welcome students by October 18, 2025.

But this isn’t just about dates and directives. It’s about restoring public trust in the school placement system — a process that has often come under scrutiny for allegations of manipulation and lack of transparency.

The GES is hoping strict enforcement this year will make a difference. Regional and District Directors will be closely monitoring compliance, and all eyes are on school heads to do the right thing.

With pressure mounting and placement into top schools more competitive than ever, the GES’s latest move sends a loud message: fairness comes first, and this time, they’re watching.
