The statement emphasized an increased security presence in Bawku, reinforced by additional forces along the key Bolgatanga-Walewale-Tamale highway. The move is intended to safeguard public safety while managing traffic flow and maintaining order on this crucial route.

The security agencies assured the public of their commitment to preserving peace, law, and order, stressing that the ongoing operations aim to protect lives and property. “The Ghana Police Service and Ghana Armed Forces remain dedicated to maintaining peace and security in Bawku and its surroundings,” the statement read.
