Breaking News: Ghana’s Speaker of Parliament recalls Parliament to sit on November 7

In a significant move, Speaker of Parliament, Rt Hon Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has officially summoned Parliament to reconvene on November 7, 2024, under the mandate of Article 112(3) of the 1992 Constitution and the Standing Orders of Parliament.

Members are set to gather at 10:00 a.m. at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Centre.

The announcement, dated October 31, 2024, signals a potentially impactful session, with all eyes on Accra as lawmakers prepare to tackle pressing national issues.
