BREAKING: Police on the Hunt for Suspects After Reported Robbery at Adabraka Jewelry Shop

The Ghana Police Service has launched an intensive search for suspects involved in a reported robbery at a jewelry shop in Adabraka on Saturday, November 2, 2024.

According to police reports, a group of armed individuals allegedly targeted the store, resulting in one person sustaining injuries.

In a statement, the police assured the public of their commitment to apprehending those involved and have intensified efforts to bring the suspects to justice.

Local residents are encouraged to remain vigilant as the police continue their investigations.

Background

Residents of Adabraka, a suburb of Accra, were left in shock after four masked, armed men reportedly attacked a man in his car.

According to an eyewitness, the attackers threw what appeared to be cash into the air after hijacking the vehicle and seizing bags thought to contain money.

Panicked onlookers scattered as gunshots were fired at the targeted vehicle.
