Ghanaian reggae and dancehall artist Stonebwoy has clarified why a remix of his hit song Jejereje featuring Skrewfaze is unlikely to happen.

Speaking on Onua Showtime with Nana Ama McBrown, Stonebwoy explained that, while many fans have suggested the collaboration, he does not see commercial potential in the remix.

While acknowledging that a Skrewfaze feature would bring “niceness” and appeal to some fans, Stonebwoy stated that it would not enhance the song’s marketability, especially within their geographical region. “If I called him for a feature, it would be just for the niceness. Adding him to the song would not add any commercial factor,” he said.

The Afro-dancehall musician revealed he is already planning several remixes of Jejereje, emphasizing that any remix must balance fans’ wishes with commercial considerations.

Stonebwoy further noted that his management team plays a crucial role in selecting collaborators, hinting that a partnership with Skrewfaze was not prioritized. He suggested that Skrewfaze could potentially create his own rendition using the same beat, without waiting for an official collaboration.
