The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will hold a wreath-laying ceremony on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at its headquarters in Adabraka to commemorate the fourth anniversary of the passing of the party’s founder and former Ghanaian President, Jerry John Rawlings.

In a statement, the NDC announced that, as part of the event, all campaign teams across the country are to observe a two-minute silence at exactly 10 a.m. to honor Mr. Rawlings, who died on November 12, 2020, at the age of 73.

The ceremony coincides with the NDC’s ongoing “Resetting Ghana Campaign,” with party officials directing all National, Regional, and Constituency campaign teams and executives to observe the tribute as instructed.

The NDC statement concluded by saying, “May the gentle soul of our great leader continue to rest in power and in perfect peace.”
