In a message to voters, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Special Aide to former President John Mahama, has urged Ghanaians to consider track records over campaign promises when heading to the polls.

Responding to recent statements by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia pledging free dialysis treatments if elected, Mogtari highlighted that Mahama and the NDC had already committed to this initiative as part of their People’s Manifesto.

“Between the man currently in power and able to offer you what you need but has refused to do so, and the man who walks his talk,” Mogtari stated, “voters have a clear choice.”

In a social media post, Mogtari emphasized the need for voters to reflect on what she described as “jaundiced partisan views” and to carefully evaluate promises made by those in power versus those demonstrated by action.

With an appeal to choose “wisely,” Mogtari’s message calls for Ghanaians to support Mahama’s vision of accessible healthcare, including specialized treatments like fertility and dialysis services, as a foundation for building “the Ghana we want.”
