The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover, has been filmed dismantling makeshift vendor stalls near the recently inaugurated Flower Pot Interchange in Accra.

In a widely circulated video, Mr. Titus-Glover is seen overturning tables and chairs set up by hawkers who had defied previous warnings to vacate the area.

The move is part of efforts to safeguard the structural integrity and aesthetic appeal of the new interchange, which aims to enhance traffic flow along the Accra-Tema Motorway.

Speaking at the commissioning of the interchange, the minister had issued a firm warning against the installation of unauthorized kiosks, containers, or trading posts near the facility.

Local authorities say the enforcement drive is crucial to ensuring the long-term benefits of the multimillion-cedi infrastructure project.
