The award was presented at the 9th EMY Africa Awards, held on November 24 at the Grand Arena in Accra, bringing together prominent figures from various sectors to celebrate excellence across the continent.

Stonebwoy, whose real name is Livingstone Etse Satekla, was honoured for his significant influence in the music industry over the past year. The award highlighted his consistent achievements, including his Billboard-charting album 5TH DIMENSION, and his dedication to representing Ghana’s cultural heritage on the global stage.

Beyond his musical accomplishments, Stonebwoy has been recognised for his charitable work through The Livingstone Foundation (TLF), which supports community development initiatives.

The artist recently announced a North American tour for his album UP & RUNNIN6, set to begin in February 2025.
