Police Praise NPP and NDC for Peaceful Final Rallies in Accra

The Ghana Police Service has praised the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and their supporters for their cooperation, which contributed to the peaceful conclusion of their final rallies in Accra on December 5, 2024.

In a statement, the Police also thanked the general public, particularly motorists, for their patience and understanding during road diversions and traffic blockages implemented to manage the large gatherings.

The leadership of the Police Administration commended the dedication and professionalism of officers who were deployed to maintain law and order during the events.

The Police further called on political parties, their supporters, and all stakeholders to uphold discipline, unity, and patriotism in the lead-up to the December 7 election. They reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring a peaceful, safe, and orderly election day.
