Voting at Centre 2 of the St. Theresa’s polling station in the Okaikwei South Constituency came to an abrupt halt this morning following a heated argument between a party agent and an Electoral Commission (EC) official.

The dispute arose after the National Democratic Congress (NDC) agent accused EC officials of failing to complete the mandatory sections (A & B) on the pink sheets before voting commenced. The omission, according to the agent, violates established election protocols designed to ensure transparency.

The situation quickly escalated, drawing the attention of voters and other polling officials. Security personnel on-site intervened to prevent further chaos, and voting remains temporarily suspended as the issue is addressed.
