U.S. Applauds Ghana’s Democracy Ahead of Crucial Elections

The United States has extended warm wishes to the people of Ghana as they head to the polls today, reaffirming its support for the country’s democratic process.

In a statement from the U.S. Embassy in Ghana, admiration was expressed for the efforts of candidates, election officials, and all those contributing to a peaceful and transparent election.

“Hats off to everyone standing for election today, and to the volunteers, election observers, and security forces working tirelessly to ensure credible and peaceful elections,” the statement read.
