Ghana’s 2024 presidential election has sparked diverse reactions from figures in both the entertainment industry and political sphere as former President John Dramani Mahama’s victory becomes more certain.

Entertainment mogul and former manager of Shatta Wale, Bullgod, welcomed Mahama’s expected return with a confident declaration. On social media, he expressed: “When I speak, God listens . Welcome back, His Excellency @officialjdmahama. Let’s make Ghana great again. #GOD #GodOnDuty #HornsUp #sikanhyiraadomaseda.”

Actor and New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporter, Prince David Osei, reflected on the outcome with grace, acknowledging the unexpected nature of the results. “What a fascinating phenomenon we’ve just witnessed! Ghana has spoken, and the results were not quite what we all anticipated,” he wrote. “I am beyond proud of myself, my team, and our collective efforts. We gave it our all and fought a vigorous battle. A hearty congratulations to our worthy rivals, NDC. Now, let the friendly banter and trolling commence! We don’t give up. We shall bounce back stronger and more resilient in the next four years.”
