GJA Calls for Applications to Cover Mahama’s Swearing-In on January 7

The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), on behalf of the Ministry of Information, has announced that media houses, including international outlets, can now apply for accreditation to cover the swearing-in of President-elect John Dramani Mahama on January 7, 2025, at the Independence Square in Accra.

In a press release issued on December 23, the GJA outlined the application process, asking interested media outlets to submit staff details, including names, media affiliations, and a standard passport photo. Submissions should be sent via WhatsApp to the GJA Secretariat at 020 836 6615.

The deadline for applications is 5:00pm on Thursday, December 26, 2024. Applications should be submitted in Microsoft Word format, using Times New Roman font, size 12. For further information, applicants are advised to contact GJA National Organizing Secretary Dominic Hlordzi at 059 882 5581 or 020 836 6615.
