The Premier League enters week 21 with many eye-catching fixtures. TheDotNews has analyzed each game and come up with the most likely outcomes.

Brentford vs Man City: This is one of the trickiest games of this gameweek. Brentford’s form at home gives them the belief that they can steal a point from the defending champions. City has gone through some tough times this season, but Pep Guardiola’s side has started picking up points after wins against Leicester City and West Ham in their last two PL games. With Haaland’s impressive record against the Bees, we think a win or draw for City could be the likely outcome. Brentford 1–2 Man City.

Chelsea vs Bournemouth: The Blues have not won their last three PL games – defeats to Fulham and Ipswich, and a draw against Crystal Palace. Bournemouth, on the other hand, has recorded some great results this season, beating Man City, Man United, and Arsenal. Though this might be close to call, we think Chelsea will be more motivated to improve their results. We will go for 2–0 Chelsea.

West Ham vs Fulham: This game will be Graham Potter’s first PL and home game. The Hammers haven’t been impressive this season, with lots of inconsistency in their play. Fulham, who sit 9th in the PL table, will go into the game as favorites, but West Ham is likely to benefit from the new manager bounce. A draw, 2–2, would be a fair result.

Nott. Forest vs Liverpool: This season’s surprise package, Nottingham Forest – the only team to beat Liverpool in the PL this season – will give the league leaders a run for their money. Will Forest complete the double over Liverpool? Or will Arne Slot’s men avenge their 1–0 loss? This game is hard to predict, but we foresee a close win for Liverpool. 1–2 for the PL leaders.

Everton vs Aston Villa: Everton’s recent form has been below par despite forcing draws against Arsenal, Chelsea, and Man City. With David Moyes back at the helm, Everton fans will hope for an improved performance and better results. Aston Villa will prove too much to handle for the Toffees, who are finding it difficult to score goals. We think Villa will run away with all three points, 3–0 to Villa.

Leicester vs Crystal Palace: Leicester City would fancy their chances of winning against Crystal Palace, who are also struggling this season. Ruud Van Nistelrooy will demand more from his boys in this must-win game. Palace, however, is beginning to find their scoring form, with Jean-Philippe Mateta returning to his best. This game will be nice to watch, and we think a close win for Leicester City is very likely. We’ll go for a 2–1 win for the home team.

Newcastle vs Wolves: Newcastle United at St. James’ Park are a different “beast” altogether. With five wins in their last five PL games, this match looks to be a done deal for the Magpies. But the Premier League is full of surprises. Since taking charge, Vitor Pereira has managed some good results, with just one defeat so far. With Alexander Isak’s form, we think Newcastle are favorites to win this tie. 3–0 win for Newcastle is our prediction.

Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur: The standout fixture of this gameweek. The North London Derby is always a top fixture and entertaining to watch. Known for their attacking style, this fixture has always produced goals, and we expect Wednesday’s game to follow suit. Both teams must deal with injuries; Tottenham will be missing their first-choice goalkeeper, Vicario, as well as their trusted defensive pair, Romero and Van de Ven. Arsenal will also go into the fixture without their talismanic winger, Saka, and Brazilian forward, Gabriel Jesus. This game is likely to end in a draw, with 2–2 the likely outcome.

Ipswich vs Brighton: Though they have been drawn into a relegation battle, Ipswich have produced some moments of magic in this season’s Premier League. They shocked many with their last home game in the division, beating Chelsea 2–0. They will really need to work extra hard when they face 10th-placed Brighton on Thursday. With their fighting spirit, Ipswich is likely to steal all three points in this fixture. A 3–2 win for the home side won’t be a surprise.

Man Utd vs Southampton: Manchester United will be coming into this fixture full of confidence after their impressive showing at Anfield and top performance away to Arsenal in the FA Cup. However, Ruben Amorim’s men have been inconsistent throughout the season, especially against the “smaller” teams. With three defeats in their last three PL games at Old Trafford, no one can confidently predict a win for the Red Devils, despite facing Southampton, who are at the bottom of the table. The Saints may prove tricky for the 20-time PL champions, but we think United will come out victors in this fixture. 3–0 United.
