Governs Kwame Agbodza has been nominated to head the Roads and Highways Ministry.

In additional nominations, Eric Opoku has been named as Minister for Food and Agriculture, while Opare Addo, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Youth Organiser, has been appointed to oversee the newly created Ministry for Youth Development and Empowerment.
