Mohammed Abdul-Salam has been appointed as the Acting Director-General of Ghana’s National Lottery Authority (NLA), effective January 15, 2025. The announcement was made by the Office of the President, confirming that Abdul-Salam will lead the authority’s operations until the necessary constitutional advice is received from the NLA Board and the Public Services Commission.

In his new role, Abdul-Salam will oversee the authority’s work, continuing a public service career that previously saw him serve as the Regional Secretary for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Northern Region.
