Ghana’s 68th Independence anniversary is set to be marked in grand style in the UK with a vibrant Arts & Crafts Exhibition, celebrating the country’s rich cultural heritage. Running from March 6 to 9, 2025, the event will offer a unique opportunity to explore Ghanaian artistry, including leather works, Kente weaving, paintings, and dynamic cultural performances.
The exhibition kicks off on March 6 and 7 at the Lighthouse Theater, open from 6 PM to 10 PM, with an entry fee of £20. The festivities continue with the highly anticipated Ghana Independence Concert at Indigo O2 on March 8, promising a night of music, dance, and high-energy cultural performances.
The celebration wraps up on March 9 at Browdwater Farm Community Center, where another arts and crafts showcase will take place from 6 PM to 10 PM. Admission remains £20 for this final showcase.
With a stellar lineup of Ghanaian artists and performers, the exhibition aims to not only highlight the country’s rich creative industries but also foster cultural exchange within the UK diaspora.
