Kwame Asare-Obeng, the Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, has announced plans to create a 24-hour economy market to stimulate economic growth and generate employment opportunities for his constituents.

Through a post on his official X account, A Plus invited residents to participate in a three-day community cleanup event from January 24th to 26th, 2025. The initiative aims to do more than just clean up; it will also provide a platform for introducing various business opportunities in agriculture, aquaculture, and tourism within the constituency.

A central feature of the event will be the unveiling of plans for a new 24-hour business district in Gomoa Central. Inspired by the vibrancy of markets like Kantamanto, Abbosey Okai, and Okaishie, A Plus hopes to transform the area into a dynamic commercial hub that can drive local economic activity.

“We want to bring the energy of markets like Kantamanto and Abbosey Okai to Gomoa Central, and create opportunities for everyone,” A Plus stated. The initiative highlights his ongoing commitment to fostering community development and building a prosperous future for the people of Gomoa Central.
