The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) has announced the temporary closure of its branch in Bawku due to escalating security issues in the region.

In a statement posted on Facebook on 1 November 2024, the bank said it would reopen the branch once the security situation stabilizes.

Customers can still access banking services via the bank’s digital platforms, which remain operational during this period.

The decision comes amid ongoing conflict in Bawku, which has led to heightened safety concerns across the area.
