John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has accused the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration of failing to tackle the real challenges facing Ghanaians, instead prioritising slogans over meaningful solutions.

In a Facebook post on November 25, Mahama expressed his concern over the government’s neglect of the agricultural sector, highlighting the struggles of farmers who, he said, are vital to Ghana’s economic stability. He pointed to the lack of adequate support and resources for agricultural workers, which has hindered their productivity and growth.

Mahama assured Ghanaians that under his leadership, the agricultural sector would receive the attention and resources it desperately needs. He pledged to introduce policies designed to empower farmers and ensure sustainable development in the sector.

“The Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government has focused on slogans over real action,” Mahama said. “They have forgotten about our farmers. The NDC will deliver.”

Mahama reaffirmed his commitment to addressing the needs of ordinary Ghanaians, particularly those in underserved sectors like agriculture, and promised a government that will focus on policies that directly improve their lives.
