An entrepreneur and founder of Class Media Group(CMG), Seidu Agongo, has shared practical advice for aspiring business owners, suggesting that starting small in a high-demand market is the key to success.

In a recent statement on Social Media, Alhaji Agongo said that if he were to begin life today with just GHS 2,000, he would invest in selling sachet water.

“Everyone drinks water, and on a daily basis too,” he explained, highlighting the consistent demand for essential products.

Alhaji emphasised that many people overcomplicate business. “If you want to succeed, go into a business space where many people need what you offer,” he said.

He noted that platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube generate billions in revenue because of their massive user base, demonstrating the power of catering to large audiences.

He advised prospective business owners to ask themselves one critical question before starting any venture: “How many people need this?”

He added that even spiritual wisdom underscores the principle of abundant demand, referencing the biblical notion that “where two or more are gathered, He is present,” symbolising the power of plenty.

The entrepreneur’s advice comes under a growing conversation on African entrepreneurship, emphasising the importance of starting small, understanding market demand, and building businesses that serve everyday needs.
