Arsenal youngster Myles Lewis-Skelly has escaped a three-match suspension following the club’s successful appeal against the red card he received during Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Wolves.

The 18-year-old was controversially sent off in the 43rd minute by referee Michael Oliver for an alleged serious foul on Wolves’ Matt Doherty. However, after a review by a Football Association (FA) disciplinary commission, the decision was overturned, allowing Lewis-Skelly to avoid the ban.

The Arsenal defender received a straight red card for this challenge

This decision means Lewis-Skelly is available for Arsenal’s upcoming fixtures, a boost for the team as they look to maintain their momentum.
