Global music icon Beyoncé has endorsed Kamala Harris’s campaign in her bid for the US presidency, urging Americans to rally for change.

Speaking at a campaign event in her hometown of Houston, Texas, the singer addressed the crowd, stressing that her presence was not as a celebrity or politician, but as “a mother who cares deeply about the world my children, and all of our children, live in—a world where we have the freedom to control our bodies.”

In her speech, Beyoncé encouraged voters to “sing a new song,” signaling her call for a fresh direction in American politics.

Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump has also intensified his efforts in Texas, traditionally a Republican stronghold, as the race for the White House gains momentum.
