Several top executives from major tech companies have contacted Donald Trump as Election Day draws near, seeking to rekindle ties with the former president amid a close race with Vice President Kamala Harris.

Apple CEO Tim Cook spoke with Trump last week regarding Apple’s legal challenges in Europe, according to Trump’s comments in a recent interview. Trump also shared a story about Google CEO Sundar Pichai, who reportedly called to compliment the former president’s campaign appearance at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s, saying, “This is one of the hottest things. We have never seen anything like this.” Trump later recounted the exchange on Joe Rogan’s podcast.

Additionally, sources reveal that Amazon CEO Andy Jassy reached out to Trump. At the same time, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg reportedly called earlier this summer, expressing admiration for Trump’s resilience following his attempted assassination. Despite previous tensions, Zuckerberg and Trump have spoken positively about each other in recent media appearances.

The outreach from Big Tech leaders highlights the broader business community’s interest in reconnecting with Trump as a potential return to the Oval Office looms.
