The National Election Security Taskforce has called on security personnel to actively take part in the Special Voting exercise scheduled for Monday, December 2.

The exercise will be held nationwide, with the exception of the Eastern and Western Regions, where it has been rescheduled to Thursday, December 5. This postponement follows the Electoral Commission’s decision to recall and reprint ballot papers due to issues with the original materials.

The Police Service, in a statement, assured that security personnel in the affected regions will have the opportunity to vote once a new date is set by the Electoral Commission. All security personnel are urged to come out in full force on Monday, December 2, to cast their votes as part of the exercise.
