The Electoral Commission (EC) has made minor revisions to the 2024 ballot statistics following decisions by District Registration Review Officers (DRROs), High Court rulings, and updates from the re-exhibition of the provisional voters’ register.

The revisions affect 20 polling stations, which will require additional ballot booklets. In a press release issued Monday, the EC confirmed that the updated statistics, along with the list of affected polling stations, have been shared with political parties, independent presidential candidates, and the designated printing firms.

The commission has also released a detailed schedule of these polling stations for public reference, emphasizing the importance of transparency as the nation heads towards the December 2024 elections. The EC urged citizens to take note of the changes as part of its commitment to an efficient electoral process.
