New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is set to visit four constituencies in Ghana’s Ashanti Region as he continues his campaign tour ahead of December’s elections.

Dr. Bawumia will meet with supporters and local leaders in Bekwai, Bosomtwe, Ejisu, and Asokwa on Monday, marking visits to 22 of the region’s 47 constituencies since he began his tour on 4 November.

The Ashanti Region, known as an NPP stronghold, holds significant electoral value due to its large voter base. Dr. Bawumia’s campaign activities have focused on engaging with community stakeholders, addressing key local concerns, and sharing his vision for Ghana’s future.

Today’s itinerary includes a meet-and-greet in Bekwai, followed by discussions with various stakeholders. NPP leaders view the tour as an opportunity to bolster support and unify the party base, seen as critical to their strategy in the upcoming polls.
