Ghana Police Rescue Emirates Airlines Manager After Alleged Kidnapping

The Ghana Police Service has confirmed the rescue of Sylvia Patience Baah, the Airport Services Manager of Emirates Airlines in Accra, who was reportedly kidnapped on Thursday evening, November 21.

In a statement, the police announced that Ms. Baah had been safely reunited with her family. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend the individuals responsible for the abduction. Authorities assured the public that they are committed to bringing the perpetrators to justice.

“We extend our gratitude to everyone who provided information during the rescue operation and to the public for their support and cooperation,” the statement read.

The alleged abduction occurred near the victim’s residence in Accra, where she was reportedly seized by unidentified men.

Inspector-General of Police Dr. George Akuffo Dampare has since spoken with Ms. Baah and her family. The police say both the victim and her relatives are in good spirits. A team of police medical officers and clinical psychologists has also been assigned to support the family during this difficult period.
