The Ghana Police Service has invited applicants who successfully passed the 2024 recruitment selection process for a medical screening scheduled for November 7-8, 2024. Candidates were notified of their selection via SMS.

Screening will take place across six designated venues in Accra, including:

  • Police Church premises near the 37 Military Hospital
  • Police Church premises in Odorkor
  • Police Interdenominational Church at the Police Depot in Tesano
  • Formed Police Unit (FPU) Headquarters at Police Depot, Tesano
  • Detective Training School at Police Depot, Tesano
  • Police Academy at Police Depot, Tesano

According to a police statement released on November 5, applicants are required to bear the GH¢980 fee for the medical examination. The service strongly cautioned against any additional payments, warning candidates to be vigilant and report anyone demanding extra fees.

The statement also urged unsuccessful applicants to avoid paying individuals who may falsely claim they can assist in securing a position within the service.

The Ghana Police Service emphasized that all payments should strictly follow the official amount stated to prevent fraud within the recruitment process.
