Ghana’s Finance Minister, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, has announced that the country’s economy has fully recovered from recent challenges. He highlighted that Ghana exceeded its 2023 economic growth target of 2.8% and has continued to achieve remarkable progress in 2024.
Speaking at a rally in Saboba in the Northern Region, Dr. Amin Adam expressed confidence in the nation’s economic outlook, emphasizing that Ghana is on a steady path to sustained growth.
“Our economy has rebounded after the difficulties of the past three years. Macroeconomic stability is being restored, and the improvements in key indicators are evident.
“Now, our focus is on accelerating economic growth, and the signs are clear that we’ve made a strong recovery. For instance, while our target for last year was 1.5% growth, we achieved 2.9%. By mid-2024, we aimed for 3.1% growth but recorded an impressive 5.8%,” he noted.
