The Ghana Premier League will resume on March 7 after a brief suspension following the tragic death of Asante Kotoko fan Nana Pooley, who was stabbed in Nsoatre.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) confirmed on Wednesday that clubs will return to action for matchday 23 from Friday, March 7 to Monday, March 10. Meanwhile, matchdays 20, 21, and 22, which were postponed, will be rescheduled for later in March and April.

To ensure safety and order at the various venues, the GFA has worked closely with both on-field and off-field stakeholders, including matchday workers, to maintain a secure environment during the games.

At the top of the table, Bibiani Goldstars, Asante Kotoko, Bechem United, and Hearts of Oak are leading the charge, while Karela, Legon Cities, and Accra Lions are in a relegation battle as the season heats up.
