James Agyenim-Boateng has been named the new Managing Director of SIC Insurance Company, replacing Hollistar Duah-Yentumi, whose tenure has officially concluded. The leadership change, announced on January 27, 2025, marks a new chapter for one of Ghana’s leading insurance firms.

Agyenim-Boateng, a lawyer and seasoned communications expert, brings significant experience to the role. He previously served as a Presidential Staffer at the Office of the Vice President from 2013 to 2017, earning recognition for his expertise in governance and strategic communications. His appointment is seen as a move to inject fresh leadership and innovation into the company.

Hollistar Duah-Yentumi, a lawyer and journalist, leaves behind a legacy of professionalism after a distinguished tenure at SIC Insurance. A graduate of the University of Ghana with advanced degrees in law and political science, Duah-Yentumi also holds a Master of Laws from the University of Maryland and a diploma in journalism from the Ghana Institute of Journalism. Throughout her time at SIC, she was known for her dedication to the company’s success and reputation.
