Jones Borteye Applerh  appointed as Acting CEO of GIHOC Distilleries

President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Jones Borteye Applerh, the former Executive Secretary of the Small Arms Commission, as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of GIHOC Distilleries, effective January 21, 2025.

The appointment is subject to receiving the constitutionally required advice from the company’s Governing Board, in consultation with the Public Services Commission.

In a formal statement issued by the Executive Secretary to the President, Dr. Callistus Mahama, the President congratulated Mr. Applerh on his new role and extended his best wishes for the position. Applerh has been asked to confirm his acceptance of the appointment within 14 days.
