Julius Debrah, Ghana’s newly appointed Chief of Staff, has called on the nation to place their trust in President-elect John Dramani Mahama’s leadership, assuring the public that his government is committed to fulfilling its promises.

Speaking at Mahama’s swearing-in ceremony at Black Star Square in Accra on January 7, 2025, Debrah emphasised the administration’s determination to improve the country’s economic conditions and address the pressing needs of the Ghanaian people.

“Hope is possible when the right people are determined to make things happen,” Debrah stated, reassuring citizens that the new government is ready to tackle the challenges ahead with strategic leadership and collaborative efforts.

Debrah further underscored Mahama’s hands-on leadership style, citing his previous tenure in office when ministers were required to regularly report progress directly to the president. He pledged that this approach would continue as the government works towards economic recovery, job creation, and improved livelihoods for Ghanaians.
