Kofi Adomah Nwanwani, a journalist and CEO of Kofi TV, is receiving urgent medical treatment in Dubai after being injured in a musketry accident during a funeral in the Bono Region last week.

The incident occurred during a traditional ceremony when some local chiefs fired muskets. Sources close to the journalist said Adomah was repositioning himself when gunpowder from a discharged musket struck his face, causing severe damage to one of his eyes. His other eye was also affected, leading to blurred vision.

Initial treatment was provided in Ghana before Adomah was transferred to Dubai for specialized care. According to reports, doctors are focused on restoring vision in his impaired eye, but the prognosis for his other eye remains uncertain.
