Lucille Naakwaley King Crowned Miss Malaika Ghana 2024

The Miss Malaika Ghana 2024 pageant concluded with a spectacular finale on Saturday, November 16, at the Palms Convention Center in Accra, where 25-year-old Lucille Naakwaley King was crowned the winner.

The event kicked off with co-host Bliss King introducing the top 10 contestants, who made a grand entrance in luxury cars provided by The Dream Collection. The finalists showcased their poise during one-on-one interviews with host Regina Van-Helvert, leading to the selection of the top five: Marie, Delphine, Lucille, Cherise, and Whitney.

A key segment of the night featured the finalists delivering speeches on their role models. Lucille King chose Dr. Arikana Chihombori-Quao, an activist and entrepreneur, praising her as an inspiration for women’s empowerment in Africa. Lucille’s speech emphasized her ambition to be a multi-faceted leader.

The final challenge involved the contestants answering questions from judges, culminating in the announcement of the winners. Cherise Nana Ama was named second runner-up, while Fiakegbe Marie Juniore took first runner-up honors. Lucille Naakwaley King was crowned Miss Malaika Ghana 2024, receiving enthusiastic applause from the audience.

In addition to her title, Lucille was awarded Miss Talent after impressing the crowd with a vibrant salsa dance routine. The evening also featured performances by renowned Ghanaian artists, including Camidoh and Olivetheboy, enhancing the celebratory atmosphere.

In a post-win interview, Lucille expressed her commitment to using her platform to support children with Autism and Down syndrome, stating, “I want to help change this. I want people to realize how worthy of love, respect, and dignity these children are.”

Miss Malaika Ghana is one of the country’s premier beauty pageants, organized annually by Charterhouse Productions, focusing on the empowerment and promotion of talented young Ghanaian women.
